ABOUT SALVESEN GRAHAM

Salvesen Graham is a leading interior design and decoration practice specialising in classic interiors with a modern twist, working for both private residential and commercial clients in the UK and abroad.

Established in London by founders Mary Graham and Nicole Salvesen, who together have over 25 years in the industry, Salvesen Graham offer a comprehensive service, creating beautiful interiors that sit comfortably within their environment and meet the high expectations of their clients. The design team focus clearly on the client brief, so there is no “house style”. However, we specialise in layering textures and colour and the juxtaposition of antiques with contemporary pieces to create timeless interiors.

We believe that the interior design process should be an enjoyable and exciting experience and our team works hard to achieve this. We work alongside leading architects, builders and our extensive contact list of industry experts, and combined with a hands-on management style, this means that Salvesen Graham is able to ensure a stress-free experience, resulting in stunning interiors and satisfied clients.

We are happy to work on both private and commercial projects in any number of different ways, providing a flexible service, tailored to suit the needs of each client. Whether this is full project management or on a more decorative basis.

Salvesen Graham have designed a number of products working with the best suppliers in the industry. We have collaborated with David Seyfried on an award winning furniture collection, The Lacquer Company on two lacquer lamp designs and with Jennifer Manner to produce the SCALLOP rug. In 2018, Salvesen Graham was included in the House & Garden Top 100 interior designers, Country Life magazine’s Top 100 interior and exterior design experts and Country & Town House magazine’s Top 50 interior designers.

Private residential client – Barnes, London

“We have been very happy with the interior design service that Salvesen Graham have provided. Nicole and Mary have always been both professional and easy to communicate with, making the process of transforming the rooms we were focusing on an enjoyable and stress free experience. The end result speaks for itself and manages to be both beautiful and practical (a key consideration with four young children). Nicole and Mary deftly took both of our tastes into consideration and exceeded our expectations – quite a feat!”

Private residential client – Notting Hill, London

“I approached Salvesen Graham because I needed some help with turning a large, white, open plan house in to a more comfortable and intimate place to live. They were happy to work with my existing art and antiques, combining them with some bold fabrics, colourful lamps and new pieces of furniture. The end result is a characterful and warm house which reflects my personality and the changing needs of my family. The whole process was thoroughly enjoyable and I can’t recommend Salvesen Graham more highly!”

Private residential client – South West London

“Nicole came up with some really great ideas for our home and has a great eye for colours and design. Our house ended up on the front cover of Homes & Gardens (and Salvesen Graham are now helping us with our next project as well) so I think that says it all!”

Private residential client – French Alps

“Working with Salvesen Graham was a pleasure from start to finish. It could have been quite a challenge with us living abroad and the building project happening in another country but Nicole, Mary and the team made everything work and were always at the end of the phone or email with creative suggestions when needed. They took in to account our various wishes and have created our dream home. The end result is a chalet full of colour that looks beautifully smart yet is cosy and practical for a young family. We would have no hesitation in working with them again and would most certainly recommend Salvesen Graham to anyone looking for a professional and innovative team of Interior Designers.”
